System Requirements

Server Requirements (If self-hosted)

Processor & Memory

Minimum 2GHz processor and 4Gb RAM
Faster processor and more memory recommended if SQL Server is hosted on the same server

Operating System

At minimum, Windows Server 2016 is required, but we recommend the latest Windows Server (2022) for new server installations.  HR Manage will be compatible with any newer Windows Server versions released.

Disk Space

1Gb free space for small companies to 10Gb or more for larger companies that use the document storage features in HR Manage

Database Platform

Microsoft SQL Server 2017 or newer.  The free express edition can be used.  For new installations, we recommend installing the latest version of SQL Server.

.NET Framework

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 required on all servers hosting any part of HR Manage

Hosting Platform

Internet Information Services (IIS) version 8 or newer in conjunction with the .NET Framework 4.8.

Do take note that if you want to use the free edition of Microsoft SQL Server (Express edition), the server must only have one CPU. Maximum database size for Express editions is 10Gb.

Client Computers

These requirements are only applicable for power users that will install and use the HR Manage Windows application.
Employees that will only use the web application, only need the correct web browser and an internet connection if HR Manage is hosted online.

Processor & Memory

Any of the newer i3/i5/i7 processors should work fine including duel-core. 2Gb Memory should work in most cases, but 3-4Gb is preferred.

Operating System

At minimum, Windows 10 is required, but all newer versions are supported including Windows 11 and any new Windows version that will be released in future.

Disk Space

Approx. 300Mb of space is required just for the HR Manage program files.

Web Browser

All major web browsers are supported, except for Internet Explorer that has been depreciated and is not longer supported.

.NET Framework

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 required on client computers that will have the HR Manage application installed

Internet Connection

1Mbps or faster Internet connection if HR Manage is hosted on the internet
